1st Annual National Invitational Encuentro Milonguero Berkeley at the Finnish Hall in Berkeley, CA

Encuentro Milonguero Berkeley is an invitational event to milonguero style dancers who mindfully maintain good navigational skills and the codigos of tango. We welcome those who are invited to enjoy three days of dancing, dining and bonding over traditionial golden era tango music DJed by some of the best DJs in the nation.
Includes four milongas and three dinners plus optional practica exchange for attendees only.

Note: "Practica Exchange" -- This is a rare opportunity for small groups of ten dancers to openly and freely share and exchange ideas and/or milonguero style moves with each other. The practica exchange creates a wonderful environment for collaboration, enhancing our experience at the encuentro. We find that when we are enjoying personal time with other skilled dancers or teachers, the mutual sharing of a special move and or idea enhances our bond with each other and creates a special friendships.
Encuentro Milonguero Berkeley supports the mission of Simepremilonguero.org which seeks to preserve and promote the culture, philosophy, and dance form of traditional social tango developed throughout the Golden Age of Argentine Tango (1935-1952) that is still danced in the tango salons of Argentina today.
