Tango Returns to the Inn!
Would you like to learn and dance the Argentine tango to a live bandoneon and a piano at our favorite inn? Antoinetta and Mark are doing Tango on the Mountain fundraisers for the Inn on both the evening of Saturday, April 12th and the afternoon of Sunday, April 13th.
WPIA member and noted tangonera Camille Cusamano will teach a Argentine tango beginners class Saturday night.
For more experienced dancers, Bay Area teachers Jonathan Yamauchi and Olivia Levitt will teach an intermediate class on Sunday afternoon.
Seth Arsenow (who just performed at Davies Hall) will play our piano and Ville Hiltula, an internationally known tango musician, will play the bandoneon for our milongas (dancing) on both Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.
In addition, we have a small collection of old 78 rpm tango records to play on the Inn’s Victrola between live sets. Antoinetta will prepare dinner for us all on Saturday night, breakfast Sunday morning and appetizers and finger foods for our Sunday afternoon milonga.
Please email Mark at mark@nhaadvisors.com or call Mark at 415 380 9746 if your are interested in attending Saturday April 12th or Sunday, April 13th, or both. Mark should have the costs figured out by the time you see this in the newsletter.
